Signing Ceremony of ITAD Biotechnology and the Ezhou Government, Hubei Province of China

In the afternoon of June 7 th, ITAD Biotechnology Limited signed a contract with the People¡¦s Government of Ezhou, Hubei Province for the investment of a RMB 200 million waste integrated treatment plant.

 

The contract signing ceremony was a major function of the ¡§2006 Hong Kong - Hubei Week¡¨. Mr Henry Tang, GBS, JP, Financial Secretary , Mr. Gao Siren, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR, Mr. Yu Zhengsheng, Provincial Party Committee Secretary of Hubei and member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and other guests attended the function.

 

The construction of a waste integrated treatment plant at Ezhou requires an investment of RMB 200 million and 18 months to build. The expected operation date is first quarter of 2008. The treatment plant will make use of, among others, the WST Waste Separation Technology and ITAD Innovative Thermophilic Aerobic Digestion Technology. The waste treatment plant will have a capacity of 500 ton per day and occupies an area of 150 Chinese Acres.

 

This is the second investment made by ITAD Biotechnology in Mainland China. In March, the company has signed a RMB 125 million contract with the People¡¦s Government of Shuyang, Jiangsu Province for the construction of a 300 ton per day waste treatment plant. Detailed design of the plant is being carried out.
